CS0115 THREE ORIGINAL GEORGIAN PINE CUPBOARD / WARDROBE DOORS

£195.00

Code: CS0115

Three original Georgian pine doors, ideal for use as cupboard doors, wardrobe doors or for interesting panelling. The stripped pine doors date to C.1800 and differ in size and design but all have recessed panels, some with beading around them. The doors have signs of wear and some damage, commensurate with age and purchaser may wish to restore them. There is some damage where hinges have been removed and there is some softness to some of the wood. The doors have evidence of woodworm that is now dead. There are holes and marks where hardware has been removed. The left hand door has had a baton added to one side. There are some splits and cracks in the wood, especially to the panels. The right hand door has a strengthening baton added to one face as there is a crack that runs down the top panel and there is also damage to near the escutcheon. Some holes have old filler. The pine has some marks, staining and discolouration. Any hinges remaining have surface rust or paint on them. Please see pictures for condition details. The cupboard doors have a great deal of period character and charm and would be ideal for a home project.

Please note: Measurements are approximate due to age and the door widths and heights may need some levelling.
