A very pretty, reclaimed, decorative Victorian pine fire surround. The surround is of the ideal size for a bedroom and has a lovely design with raised and fielded panels along the cross bar and down the legs and diamond shapes carved in to each of the top corners. The pine has had a wax or varnished finish at some point but there are some stains and discolouration that can be seen.  

The surround is in good antique condition with some character signs of age. The pine has some chips and the back of the mantel has some splits and knocks. The surround has had some filler applied to small holes. The feet have some scuffs. The back has some splinters and some old nails with rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The surround has a nice design which is delicate and pretty, suiting many interiors and would be ideal paired with a cast iron fire insert or fire basket. The fire surround is a fantastic period item that would add great character to a fireplace.
