A reclaimed stripped pine, Victorian, four panel cupboard door, C.1890. The petite door is well made and has a traditional design with four recessed panels with the front face having decorative beading around them. The door has been stripped to bare wood but the pine has some marks and stains and you may wish to give the door a further sand. The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age. The door has some holes and marks from hardware removal. The front face of the door has a patch of paint or filler that was under a lock or bolt that has since been removed. The holes in the top panels have had wood filler applied to them and there is some filler added to a wood knot hole. One key hole has been patch repaired. The door has some knocks, chips, wood knots and some splits but the door is stable. There is some damage above the top hinge slot, where the door has sustained a knock to the edge and some pine has broken away. The base edge is slightly uneven and the door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The cupboard door is of the ideal size for a bedroom or perhaps a kitchen pantry and has a very nice traditional period design.
