M1818 A RECLAIMED ANTIQUE DECORATIVE HANGING CUT GLASS CHANDELIER

A highly decorative, reclaimed, French hanging ceiling chandelier / light. The chandelier is of a fine quality and likely dates to C.1925-35. The brass sections are highly decorative with faces, acanthus leaves and torches. The chandelier is fitted with a large cut glass base section with nice design and three pretty shades in yellow/brown and with scalloped edges. The chandelier has been photographed with a large metal hanging hook but it is for photographic purposes only and it has a metal hanging chain that was folded up for the pictures. PLEASE NOTE: The chandelier wiring has NOT been tested. WE CANNOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WIRING. The light will be supplied without a plug and you MUST get a qualified electrician to check the wiring and fit a plug before use. We will not include the bulbs as they are likely to break in transit. 

The chandelier is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and some damage to the glass. There is a large crack to one of the glass light shades but it is stable (picture 13). One other light shade has a smaller crack near the brass (picture 12). The brass has some tarnish. The large cut glass shade has some dark marks on it. Please see pictures for condition details. The chandelier is a fine example of design of the period and would make a stunning feature in a room.
