A reclaimed, reproduction, cast iron tiled fire insert made by Stovax. The fire insert is approximately 45-50 years old and a reproduction of Art Nouveau designs. The tile insert has a lovely smoke hood with flower decoration in the Art Nouveau style. The fire insert has a decorative border with flowers and leaves and the fire has been fitted with reproduction Art Nouveau fire tiles. The fire insert has five tiles on each side and with the same design on each side that runs down the length of the tiles. The tiles are green and have very pretty yellow flowers. The listing price is for the tiled insert ONLY but we have photographed the insert with a clay fire back and a fire stool (Picture 12) and we can provide a clay back and a fire stool for an EXTRA CHARGE. The clay back is an extra £80 and the stool is £50. Please let us know at time of purchase if you would like to purchase either or both the clay back and stool. The stool and back will be a suitable one for the insert but may be different to the ones shown in picture 12. 

The fire insert is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and use. The tiles have some crazing to the glaze and some tiles have some knocks, chips and cracks but they are stable. There is some residue filler on a few tiles that can be cleaned off. The iron has some small scratches, marks and little areas of surface rust. The back of the fire has surface rust, as expected.
