A very pretty, reclaimed, original Victorian painted pine sash window. The window is a very fine example of Victorian design and is particularly elegant. The window has twelve small square panels at the top that have been glazed with clear glass. The lower half of the window has two large panels with elegantly shaped tops. The larger panels are no longer glazed. You could re-glaze the window or add mirror glass to it to make a pretty interior item. The window has a small sash window fastener. The window has been painted white but there are stains, dark marks, chipping and flaking to the paint and you will need to sand and re-paint the window to suit. The window is in solid condition with some signs of its age. The inner edges where the glass sits are rough and uneven in places. The sash cords are cut and will need to be removed. There are some knocks, chips and splinters to the pine. The window fastener has some tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The window is a versatile item that could be used as a sash window again, a decorative mirror or you could fit it with chalk board to make an interesting board for a wedding or event. The window is a fine reclaimed antique with great period character.
