DI0851 LARGE PITCH PINE & VENEER INTERNAL DOOR / BARN CONVERSION DOOR

An unusual, reclaimed, very large internal door suited to a rustic interior or perhaps a barn conversion. The door comprises of two layers, a pitch pine face with a nice grain and a very rustic appearance. The other face has 12 recessed panels with thick wooden framework in-between them. This side is made of a thick veneered pitch pine on ply. The rustic face has two very long iron strap hinges that we believe are holding the door together. If you wanted to use other hinges for attaching the door to the wall we could cut the strap hinge knuckles, for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The door has a small bolt and two small straps with decorative detailing. The door has had a stain or varnish and we have sanded patches of both faces of the door so you can see the wood colour under the stain. 

Although the door is very thick we believe it is only suited to internal use and it may warp if used outside. The door is in solid condition but has character signs of age and wear.  There are knocks, deep splits and gouges in the wood. The door furniture has rust. The door will need sanding and re-finishing and there are scratches, marks and discolouration. There are holes and indentations where the lock and hardware has been removed. One larger hole has some damage and rough edges around it. A draft excluder will need to be removed. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a fantastic rustic appearance and is of an impressive size, ideal for adding character to a rustic home.
