A reclaimed, reproduction, cast iron arched fire insert. The fire insert is a reproduction of period designs and has a simple and classic design with a large arch with border. The insert has an attractive arched smoke hood. The insert has shaped front bars but we believe they may not be the original bars as they have been bolted on to the front of the fire and are now not removable. The fire insert has a clay back and fire stool included in the price and you will be supplied with a back of the same size and either the same stool pictured or another suitable fire stool will be supplied with the fire insert (please note the stool may have a straight or curved front). If you do not wish to have the clay back and fire stool we can reduce the price of the fire insert to £195. Please let us know before purchase if you prefer this option. 

The fire insert is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear. The iron has some knocks, casting marks and pitting. The back has some surface rust, as expected. The front bars have been bolted on and there are some slight gaps between the fire and the front bars. There are some scratches and marks to the black finish. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire has a very nice classic look and will be ideal for adding character to a fireplace.
