A rustic style, reclaimed, elm plank half stable door. The half door is solid and very heavy and is ideal for use as a garden gate or half door for an outbuilding or similar. The half stable door comprises of 7 elm planks with a ledge and brace construction on the back face. The door has an iron handle, hinge loops and pins for them. The door was originally paired with a top section and it has a metal tab at the top where it joined with it. Please note, the half door no longer has the top section. The half door is in solid condition with some signs of age and a rustic appearance. The metal tab at the top has surface rust. The elm has some wear, unevenness and a rustic appearance. The wood has some discolouration and marks. There are some holes and marks from hardware removal. The hinges have surface rust. There are some surface cracks and splits in the wood. There are some knocks, chips and staple marks. The height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The half door is ideal for a project or for a rustic garden gate and is well made with a nice appearance.
